ENU CHALLENGE: HIKE 2B-RAD

ABOUT THE EVENT:
2B-RAD and Nature Unplugged have joined forces to raise awareness around the mental, physical and emotional health benefits of time spent in nature. Today’s digital age is stressful and we’re seeing higher instances of anxiety, isolation, depression, suicide, physical ailments and obesity than ever before. Let’s break the clutches of technology overuse, rise above the digital noise and get back to what’s truly important. Connecting with each other, connecting with nature and engaging with the world around us.
The timing and the spirit of this year’s event, the ENU (Experience Nature Unplugged) Challenge: Hike 2B-RAD, is in honor of Brad Humphrey, a committed husband, father, son, brother and friend who loved his community as much as he loved the great outdoors. He believed in the healing power of human connection and being active in nature—and so do we. Our goal is to raise funds to help individuals and families participate in outdoor, community based programs to explore, grow and challenge themselves in nature with guidance and support.
2B-RAD is a non-profit organization with 501(c)(3) status and Nature Unplugged is a socially minded for profit company.

But for folks in the San Diego area, we're hosting a series of free in-person hikes all over the county. Come to one or all of them and explore new hikes and make new friends. Let's get outside together!

Inspired by the spirit and energy of Brad Humphrey, 2B-RAD partners with like minded organizations who believe in community and the healing power of being active in nature. Whatever the hardship, 2B-RAD’s goal is to help individuals and families participate in outdoor, community based programs.
Nature Unplugged was founded in 2012 with the mission of inspiring wellness in the digital age. They’ve developed a unique curriculum to help individuals, families, educators and organizations break free from the clutches of technology overuse, reconnect with nature and engage with life and work in a whole new way.
Our ENU (Experience Nature Unplugged) Challenge: Hike 2B-RAD will take place from October 1 - 31, 2021. Help us raise funds to support individuals and families experience the benefits of nature unplugged. Registration opens on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. This event is co-sponsored by 2B-RAD and Nature Unplugged.
